MISSION STATEMENT
The International Foundation of Latin and Hispanic Gastronomy is a 501(c)(3)
non profit, non partisan educational institution.This institution's mission is to provide a forum to build awareness for the empowerment and fostering of Latin-Hispanic gastronomy and the diffusion of its wines highlighting its efforts on educational initiatives with an emphasis on fine dining service. Furthermore this society emphasizes its efforts in strengthening the integration of relationships and also deepening the understanding among the peoples and their gastronomy on more than twenty countries broadly defined as Latin Hispanic regions - these areas cover from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Spain, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Venezuela, Cuba, Portugal and the United States a country which holds the biggest Hispanic Latin population in the world and where Spanish and Portuguese languages are widely spoken

This gastronomic organization is the result of a progressive vision about cultures, food, wine, cuisines and fine tabe service. The rediscovery of Latin-Hispanic gastronomy it is indeed a segment of a universal cultural trend pattern behavior through out the world, which is leading to new innovative finds in the food and wine industries that are re-shaping a new culinary heritage in our culture from the U.S through Latin America and Europe.
We want to inspire our bilingual audience, partners supporters and clients in a way that every-time they look or get our educational products and services or simply visit our internet site in search of any gastronomic or hospitality related answers we can remind them their culture (their past) their family (their present), and their education, (their future).
The International Foundation of Latin and Hispanic Gastronomy will illustrate diversity to its audience and will assist the specialized media through cooking presentations, wine testing, wine courses, star chef lectures, seminars, conferences and performances.
Our foundation features to students, teachers, food wine lovers and professionals unique educational publications in print and on the web dedicated to the subjects of wine, food, fine dining service. By emphasizing the practice of fine service we will increase awareness and international standards of our culture as well as ease considerably our audience's efforts in getting the best gastronomic education, food products and hospitality services.
The International Foundation of Latin and Hispanic Gastronomy is supported by contributions from government agencies, foundations, corporations, and individuals.
Our initiatives have been shaped steadily and have achieved a solid reputation which has led to the partnership and support of important institutions that are re-shaping a new culinary heritage in our culture from the U.S through Latin America and Europe.
Hispanics are individuals who have either partial or total knowledge of the Spanish language and whose lineage can be traced to countries where the Spanish language is the dominant tongue. Hispanics are as heterogeneous as their countries of origin, religions, customs, and tastes. They could be from Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America. Latin: countries or peoples using languages descended from Latin (romance languages) the four most important Latin languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French.
